Finance Manager – Global Entertainment, London

About the role

We are seeking a qualified accountant to lead our finance function for a high‑growth, globally recognised entertainment business. The Finance Manager will oversee accounting and reporting for multiple European entities while managing a team of finance professionals in central London.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, coach and develop a team of accountants.
• Manage month‑end close and ensure accurate, timely reporting.
• Oversee accounting for revenue, costs, fixed and intangible assets, inventory, production and intercompany transactions.
• Prepare quarterly and annual reports, cash‑flow statements and variance/flux analysis.
• Maintain robust controls and continuously improve finance processes.
• Act as primary contact for internal and external audit.
• Partner with local finance teams across EMEA.
• Collaborate with international tax colleagues on transfer‑pricing policies.
• Support project accounting and selected budgeting activities.

Required profile

• ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified accountant.
• Post‑qualified experience in financial accounting and reporting.
• Proven team management or leadership experience.
• Experience working in a SOX‑controlled environment.
• Exposure to internal and external audit.
• Strong knowledge of balance‑sheet reconciliations and flux analysis.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a complex, international setting.
• Proactive, detail‑oriented approach with genuine interest in developing people.
