Finance Manager – £55k + Benefits (Exeter)

About the role

We are seeking a Finance Manager to join our fast‑growing technology business in Exeter. You will own the monthly management accounts process and deliver insightful financial analysis that supports strategic decision‑making across the organisation.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare monthly management accounts, including P&L, balance sheet, cash flow and variance analysis.
• Lead month‑end activities such as journal entries, accruals, pre‑payments and reconciliations.
• Support budgeting, re‑forecasting and cash‑flow planning for the business.
• Partner with stakeholders to provide commercial insight and decision support.

Required profile

• ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified (or finalist) with strong management‑accounts experience.
• Proven ability to produce end‑to‑end monthly accounts and report to senior leaders.
• Excellent communication skills, able to explain financial information to non‑finance colleagues.

• Advanced Excel proficiency.
