Financial Analyst – FP&A (Hybrid, London)

About the role

We are seeking a Financial Analyst to join the FP&A team of a leading private medical consultancy in central London. Reporting to the FP&A Manager, you will provide high‑quality analysis, reporting and financial management to support business objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Support the annual budget, quarterly forecasts and cash‑flow planning.
• Partner with budget owners to review performance and challenge assumptions.
• Produce monthly management reports with variance analysis and commentary.
• Analyse revenue, costs, margins and KPIs to identify trends and opportunities.
• Provide financial insights for commercial and strategic decision‑making.
• Build financial models to evaluate growth opportunities and investments.
• Present financial performance and key findings to senior stakeholders.
• Support group reporting and ensure timely submission of results and forecasts.
• Assist with process improvements, financial controls and systems development.

Required profile

• Part‑qualified accountant (ACCA, ACA or CIMA).
• Degree in accounting, finance or a related quantitative discipline from a reputable university.
• 4+ years of experience in a financial analysis or FP&A role.
• Practical experience with month‑end processes, budgeting and forecasting.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proven ability to manage stakeholders and business partners.

Required skills

• PowerBI (desirable).
