Financial Planning & Analysis Accountant

About the role

We are seeking a Financial Planning & Analysis Accountant to join a fast‑growing transport organisation based just outside Manchester city centre. The role will support strategic decision‑making by turning large data sets into actionable insights.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain budgets, forecasts and group management accounts.
• Analyse key performance indicators and produce insightful reports.
• Develop financial models to support strategic planning.
• Identify risks and opportunities and recommend improvements.
• Lead continuous‑improvement initiatives for finance processes and systems.

Required profile

• ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified.
• Proven experience in a commercially focused finance role.
• Ability to interpret large volumes of data and present findings to non‑finance audiences.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel.
• Financial modelling.
