Financial Planning Analyst – Luxury Sportswear

About the role

Join a fast‑growing luxury sportswear brand as a Financial Planning Analyst within its London finance team. You will act as a strategic co‑pilot, shaping financial planning, delivering insight and supporting key stakeholders during a period of rapid e‑commerce expansion and ERP implementation.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and support budgeting and forecasting cycles across the business.
• Build and enhance financial models, including scenario and sensitivity analysis.
• Deliver monthly reporting, variance analysis and actionable insights.
• Partner with Marketing and Commercial teams to track performance, spend and key metrics.
• Monitor costs against budget, ensuring accuracy, accountability and visibility.
• Analyse sales performance across UK, US, EU and ROW markets.
• Support month‑end close and maintain integrity of financial data.
• Drive continuous improvements in processes, reporting and financial controls.

Required profile

• 3‑5+ years of experience in FP&A, commercial finance or business partnering.
• Retail or FMCG background is essential.
• Qualified ACCA, ACA or CIMA accountant.
• Strong track record in budgeting, forecasting and financial analysis.
• Commercial mindset with the ability to translate data into insight.
• Comfortable working in a fast‑paced, evolving environment.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel or Google Sheets and financial modelling.
• ERP experience (e.g., NetSuite) – desirable.
• BI tools such as Power BI, Looker or Tableau.
• SQL – desirable.
