Fitness Coach

About the role

Join JD Gyms as a Fitness Coach and deliver a world‑class experience to members on every visit. You will be the face of the club, ensuring high standards of cleanliness, safety and member engagement while leading inductions and dynamic group exercise sessions.

Key responsibilities

• Engage with members on the gym floor, placing the member experience at the heart of all activities.
• Conduct welcoming tours for prospective members in line with JD Gyms brand standards.
• Lead engaging group exercise classes and informative member inductions.
• Support prospective members through the joining process as required.
• Perform club standards checks, record results accurately and maintain compliance with health and safety policies.
• Provide ad‑hoc assistance to members and ensure the gym remains clean and safe.
• Monitor service delivery through performance metrics and member feedback.
• Promote energy efficiency, waste management and environmental best practices.
• Analyse and present key data to support new ideas and initiatives.

• Passion for fitness, health, wellbeing and helping people.
• Embodies JD Gyms brand values and standards.
• Enthusiastic, open to learning and adaptable to different personalities.
• Resilient, receptive to feedback and committed to delivering great member experiences.
• Flexible with working hours and a strong team player.
• Level 3 (EQF Level 4) Personal Trainer qualification.
