FLT Counterbalance Driver – Timber/Wood (Leeds)

About the role
We are seeking an experienced FLT Counterbalance Driver to join a busy timber and wood handling operation in Leeds. The role starts on a temporary basis with the prospect of a permanent position, offering a stable career in a growing logistics environment.
Key responsibilities
- Operate a Counterbalance FLT safely to load, unload and move timber products.
- Transport stock around the warehouse and yard efficiently.
- Assist with general warehouse duties as required.
- Follow all health and safety procedures and company policies.
Required profile
- Valid Counterbalance FLT licence.
- Previous experience handling timber, wood or similar materials.
- Reliable, hardworking and safety‑conscious.
- Willingness to work shift patterns – initial day shift followed by mid‑shift after training.
