Fractional Head of Finance

About the role

Equifind Group is seeking a seasoned finance professional to act as a Fractional Head of Finance. This part‑time, hands‑on assignment will focus on modernising the finance function, strengthening controls and delivering reliable management information to support commercial decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the finance function, enhancing financial controls, governance and reporting.
• Review and improve existing processes, systems and management information, identifying risks and opportunities.
• Produce accurate, timely UK GAAP‑compliant management reports and establish a robust month‑end close.
• Enhance costing, margin analysis, budgeting, forecasting and KPI reporting.
• Partner with the Board and senior leadership to provide strategic financial insight.

Required profile

• Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA) with experience in a finance leadership role.
• Proven track record of finance transformation and process improvement.
• Commercially minded, hands‑on, and able to make an immediate impact.
