Freelance Site Manager – Bermondsey & Stockwell

About the role

We are partnering with a leading restoration and refurbishment contractor to secure two experienced Freelance Site Managers for high‑value projects in Bermondsey and Stockwell. You will be the primary on‑site authority, reporting directly to the Contracts Manager, and will oversee projects valued up to £1 million.

Key responsibilities

• Lead day‑to‑day site operations, ensuring work is completed safely, on time and to quality standards.
• Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers and tradespeople across restoration and external refurbishment works.
• Monitor progress against schedules, budgets and client specifications.
• Maintain accurate site documentation, daily reports and health‑and‑safety records.
• Resolve on‑site issues promptly and communicate updates to the Contracts Manager.

Required profile

• Proven experience in building restoration or external refurbishment projects.
• Strong understanding of construction site management and health‑and‑safety regulations.
• Ability to work independently on a freelance basis and manage multiple sites.

Required skills

• SMSTS certification.
• First Aid certification.
• CSCS card.
