Freelance Sudanese Arabic Telephone Interpreter (Remote, UK)

About the role

LanguageLine Solutions is seeking freelance Sudanese Arabic telephone interpreters to work remotely from the UK. You will provide accurate, impartial and confidential interpretation between English and Sudanese Arabic for clients in healthcare, local government and other public services.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver telephone interpretation services with high quality and confidentiality.
• Support a variety of sectors, including NHS, local authorities and government departments.
• Manage your own schedule and availability through the interpreter portal.
• Maintain accurate records and follow company quality standards.

Required profile

• Fluent in Sudanese Arabic and English.
• Excellent communication and active‑listening abilities.
• Legal right to work in the United Kingdom.
• Access to a smartphone and reliable home Wi‑Fi.
• Willingness to complete recruitment, onboarding and an Enhanced DBS check.
