French Language Teacher for Children

About the role
The Club Petit Pierrot, a French language school for children, is looking for a native‑French speaking teacher to deliver its immersion programme to children aged 6 months to 8 years across its centres, partner nurseries, primary schools and private tuition.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare lessons following the devised programme using provided resources.
- Participate in meetings with peers and management.
- Teach small groups of children in the school’s centres.
- Deliver the programme in nurseries and primary schools.
- Provide one‑to‑one tutoring sessions.
- Communicate regularly with parents.
- Take part in cultural events organised by the school.
Required profile
- Qualified teacher of French as a Foreign Language or a relevant degree with experience working with children.
- Early‑years or Montessori background is a plus.
- Native‑level French speaker.
- Strong communication skills and good level of English.
- Right to work in the UK (settled/pre‑settled status or appropriate visa).
Required skills
- Ability to adapt teaching to different environments.
- Lesson planning and basic classroom management.
- Proficiency in English for parent communication.

- £30,849 per annum for 35 hours per week on a PAYE contract.
