French‑Speaking Business Development Manager – Renewable Energy Events

About the role

We are looking for a French‑speaking Business Development Manager to join our renewable energy events team in London. You will help expand a leading European exhibition portfolio, connecting solar, storage, clean‑infrastructure and utility players with investors and solution providers.

Key responsibilities

• Own the full 360° sales cycle – from prospecting to closing exhibition space and sponsorship packages.
• Build and nurture relationships with senior stakeholders across Europe.
• Prepare and deliver tailored proposals in French and English.
• Maintain and update the sales pipeline using Salesforce or other CRM tools.
• Collaborate closely with marketing, operations and conference teams to maximise commercial performance.

Required profile

• Native French speaker with strong English communication skills.
• 1‑2 years of experience in sales, business development, recruitment, events or other client‑facing roles.
• Confident communicator with proven negotiation abilities.
• Comfortable working in a target‑driven environment and able to organise workload independently.
• Interest in renewable energy or B2B events is a plus.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Salesforce or similar CRM platforms.

• Base salary £30k‑£34k plus uncapped commission (target OTE 40%).
