About the role
The Front Office Reception Supervisor will report to the Reception Manager and lead a large reception team to deliver 5‑star service at Cameron House, a luxury resort on Loch Lomond. This fixed‑term position involves overseeing guest check‑in and check‑out, handling queries, and ensuring smooth daily operations.
Key responsibilities
- Supervise guest check‑in, check‑out, billing, and call handling.
- Lead daily briefings, handovers and organise workload, delegating tasks and coordinating breaks.
- Monitor performance using checklists and SOPs, provide feedback and informal counselling.
- Support the team with operational issues and train new employees on the job.
- Handle and resolve guest feedback, departmental requisitions, billing queries, adjustments and recoveries.
- Manage room allocations, queued rooms, no‑shows, cash‑ups and banking.
Required profile
- Ambitious, friendly and guest‑focused attitude.
- Strong team spirit and willingness to support colleagues.
- Commitment to protecting the resort’s environment.
- HND or equivalent qualification, or comparable hospitality experience.
- Recent experience in reception, front office or reservations within a large hotel (100+ rooms).
