Graduate DevOps Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a Graduate DevOps Engineer to help keep our mortgage platform reliable, secure and performant. You will work closely with frontend and backend teams to streamline CI pipelines, monitor production environments and implement non‑functional requirements such as security and scaling.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement and test security, performance and scaling aspects of the platform.
• Maintain and optimise CI/CD pipelines to ensure smooth, efficient releases.
• Monitor production systems, collect logs and metrics, and respond to incidents.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to support rapid delivery while meeting quality and security standards.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning and environment hardening.

Required profile

• Passionate about software engineering and delivering high‑quality products.
• Curious about emerging technologies and enjoys tinkering with systems and networks.
• Awareness of Docker, Kubernetes and Terraform.
• Understanding of information‑security principles and environment hardening.
• Familiarity with monitoring, logging and CI concepts.
• Basic knowledge of at least one programming or scripting language.
