Group Finance Director – Creative Agency

About the role

This is a senior finance leadership position within a fast‑growing international creative agency that delivers high‑profile projects across sport, entertainment and live events. Reporting directly to the Group CEO, the Group Finance Director will shape financial strategy and support the company’s growth ambitions.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with the CEO and senior leadership team to develop and execute business strategy.
• Lead the annual budgeting process and long‑range financial planning.
• Provide financial analysis and insight to drive commercial performance.
• Support M&A activity, including due diligence, modelling and post‑acquisition reporting.
• Oversee monthly management reporting, forecasting, trading performance and balance‑sheet management across all entities.
• Maintain robust financial controls, statutory reporting, audit processes and regulatory compliance.
• Manage tax reporting and compliance across multiple jurisdictions.
• Drive project profitability through margin management, revenue recognition, WIP and cash‑flow monitoring.
• Lead, mentor and develop a high‑performing finance team.
• Build relationships with auditors, banks, advisors and other external stakeholders.
• Lead finance systems and ERP development projects and champion automation.

Required profile

• Extensive experience in senior finance roles within project‑driven or agency environments.
• Commercially minded with a strong track record of influencing business strategy.
• Proven ability to manage complex financial structures across multiple entities and jurisdictions.
• Excellent leadership and stakeholder management skills.
