Head of Finance – Luxury Travel

About the role

Cedar, a fast‑growing founder‑led luxury travel company, is looking for a commercially minded Head of Finance to own the finance function across its international operations. Reporting directly to the founders, you will shape the financial infrastructure that supports continued organic growth in the UK, North America and the Middle East.

Key responsibilities

• Lead day‑to‑day finance activities for multiple entities, delivering accurate monthly management accounts and board reports.
• Provide commercial finance partnership to the CEO and senior leaders, including financial modelling, scenario planning and profitability analysis.
• Manage cash‑flow forecasting, liquidity, inter‑company funding and foreign‑currency exposure across several currencies.
• Drive continuous improvement of finance systems, controls and reporting processes.
• Oversee the annual audit, statutory reporting and governance frameworks for all international entities.
• Build, mentor and develop a high‑performing finance team.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading finance functions in multi‑entity, international businesses.
• Strong commercial acumen with the ability to influence strategic decisions.
• Excellent analytical skills and a track record of delivering actionable insights.
• Hands‑on approach with the ability to balance strategic leadership and operational execution.
