Head of Marketing

About the role

Shorterm Group is seeking an experienced, commercially‑focused Head of Marketing to shape and execute a global marketing strategy for its prestigious British luxury sailing yacht brand. Reporting directly to the CEO, you will lead the marketing function, strengthen brand positioning and drive customer engagement across international markets.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement a comprehensive global marketing strategy aligned with business objectives and revenue targets.
• Lead global campaigns, product launches and customer communications, ensuring consistent brand messaging.
• Conduct market research and customer analysis to identify trends, opportunities and evolving expectations.
• Protect and evolve brand identity across digital, PR, print, events, partnerships and other touchpoints.
• Oversee digital marketing, website performance, SEO, social media, paid media and CRM activities.
• Lead PR strategy and build relationships with marine, luxury and lifestyle media.
• Manage international boat shows, private viewings, owner events and lifestyle experiences.
• Identify and develop strategic partnerships with influencers, marine media and complementary luxury brands.
• Lead, inspire and develop the marketing team, fostering a creative and commercially‑focused culture.
• Collaborate with Sales, Design and Aftersales to deliver a seamless customer journey.
• Manage external agencies, suppliers and creative partners, ensuring high standards and value.
• Establish and monitor marketing KPIs, campaign performance and ROI.
• Control the global marketing budget in line with business priorities.

Required profile

• Proven experience in senior marketing leadership within a luxury or premium brand.
• Commercially focused with a track record of driving growth and revenue.
• Strong ability to work closely with C‑level executives and cross‑functional teams.
• Demonstrated experience managing global campaigns and international events.
