Head of Property Management

About the role

The Head of Property Management will lead the national property management function for Bruntwood SciTech, overseeing performance and operational standards across a diverse portfolio of office and laboratory spaces. Based in Manchester with occasional travel to Leeds, Liverpool and Birmingham, the role partners closely with Asset and Property Management teams to drive efficiency and value.

Key responsibilities

• Provide strategic oversight of service charge budgets, reconciliations and performance reporting at a national level.
• Collaborate with finance to define and enforce a timetable for service charge delivery, ensuring 100 % adherence.
• Identify and articulate system and process improvement requirements, acting as the key liaison for property‑management technology projects.
• Support regional teams in analysing service charge data, benchmarking against industry standards and recommending cost‑saving measures.
• Represent the property management function internally and with external suppliers, fostering collaborative relationships.

Required profile

• Proven experience owning property‑management functions within a real‑estate or institutional‑fund environment.
• Track record of embedding best practice across large property portfolios and driving cross‑departmental efficiencies.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to influence internal stakeholders and external partners.
• Experience preparing and presenting service‑charge reports to senior clients and fund managers.
