Head of Public Sector – Lead NHS & Local Government Growth

About the role

We are looking for a Head of Public Sector to lead our commercial team focused on the NHS and Local Government. You will shape and execute a scalable go‑to‑market strategy, driving rapid customer acquisition and long‑term value creation across a large, complex market.

Key responsibilities

• Define and own the public‑sector growth strategy, translating opportunity into an executable plan.
• Deliver a blended individual contribution of around £700k in Year 1 and support the team to reach a £3.75m target.
• Lead, coach and empower Partnerships Managers for NHS and Local Government.
• Drive multi‑product adoption, deeper enterprise partnerships and systematic expansion within existing customers.
• Maintain understanding of public‑sector procurement and shape buying routes toward direct award.
• Act as senior commercial voice across LDN, collaborating with Marketing, Product and Delivery teams.

Required profile

• Experience in apprenticeship sales or B2B sales.
• Proven people‑management experience with strong relationship and communication skills.
• Strategically minded, action‑oriented and confident senior leader.
• Empowering, trust‑based leadership style with commercial focus.
• High organisational ability, attention to detail and customer‑centric commercial judgement.
• Collaborative, development‑minded and committed to company values.
