Head of Talent Acquisition (Recruitment Lead)

About the role

We are partnering with a fast‑growing engineering consultancy to find a Head of Talent Acquisition who will lead recruitment across the UK and US. The role is hybrid (2 days remote, 3 days in‑office) and reports to the Senior Directors while managing a small international team.

Key responsibilities

• Lead all operational and strategic aspects of talent acquisition in a high‑growth environment.
• Manage and develop the recruitment team across the UK and US.
• Design and execute a recruitment strategy that supports ambitious growth plans for the next 2‑3 years.
• Own the talent acquisition budget and track spend against targets.
• Create attraction and hiring strategies to secure top talent at all levels, from entry to C‑suite.
• Collaborate with senior leadership and hiring managers to understand hiring needs.
• Identify and implement automation and AI‑enabled solutions to improve efficiency and candidate experience.
• Conduct job‑description reviews, map talent gaps, and propose innovative hiring initiatives.

Required profile

• Proven senior talent acquisition experience in a high‑growth, engineering or technical environment.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and scale recruitment teams across multiple regions.
• Strong commercial acumen with experience managing recruitment budgets.
• Excellent stakeholder management with senior leadership.
• Track record of delivering recruitment strategies that attract and retain top talent.

Required skills

• Experience with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS).
• Proficiency in AI‑enabled hiring solutions and recruitment automation tools.
