Housekeeper – London Boutique Hotel

About the role

The Londoner, a 5‑star super boutique hotel in the heart of Leicester Square, is looking for a Housekeeper to join its housekeeping team. This position offers excellent training and fast‑track career progression within a recognised Great Place to Work.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise the housekeeping team to ensure rooms and public areas meet the hotel’s high standards.
• Provide clear, constructive feedback to Room Attendants and House Stewards and deliver on‑the‑job training where needed.
• Conduct onboarding training for new starters and assign appropriate buddies to support their development.
• Maintain consistent customer service excellence in line with the hotel’s core values.

Required profile

• Previous supervisory experience in housekeeping, preferably within a 4‑ or 5‑star hotel.
• Proven ability to lead, train, coach and develop a team.
• Strong attention to detail and excellent customer‑service orientation.
• Clear and respectful communication skills, aware that many colleagues may not have English as their first language.
• Team‑player mindset with the ability to collaborate across departments.
