About the Position

Join the prestigious Ruby Lodge, a luxury care home located in the beautiful Sowerby, Thirsk. As a Housekeeper, you will play a vital role in maintaining the high standards of excellence and comfort that our residents and their families expect from our family-run establishment.

Main Missions

• Ensure the impeccable cleanliness and hygiene of resident bedrooms and all communal areas.
• Manage resident laundry services, including washing, drying, ironing, and folding with care.
• Maintain high standards of sanitation in accordance with health and safety regulations.
• Provide a warm and welcoming presence, interacting positively and kindly with residents and their families.
• Collaborate with the Home Manager to ensure the seamless daily operation of the facility.

• A meticulous individual with a keen eye for detail and high standards of cleanliness.
• A compassionate and friendly personality, dedicated to providing excellent service in a care environment.
• Ability to work effectively within a team and communicate warmly with elderly residents.
• Reliable and professional, with the ability to manage time efficiently.
• Previous experience in housekeeping or laundry services is preferred but not essential; we value attitude and willingness to learn.
