Injection Mould Tool Setter

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Injection Mould Tool Setter to join our Injection Moulding Department in Birmingham. The role involves maintaining production efficiency on either a permanent weekend shift (6 am‑6 pm) or a rotational weekday shift (6 am‑2 pm / 2 pm‑10 pm).

Key responsibilities

• Assist the Injection Moulding Manager with machine set‑up and production changeovers.
• Operate injection moulding equipment according to Standard Operating Procedures to meet targets.
• Perform tool changeovers and carry out basic maintenance tasks.
• Monitor the moulding process for quality and record batch data accurately.
• Ensure compliance with Health and Safety regulations and report any issues.

Required profile

• Minimum one year experience in a similar injection moulding role.
• GCSE‑level qualifications in Mathematics and English.
• Good understanding of injection moulding mechanics and related health and safety rules.
• Flexibility to work the specified shift patterns.
• Strong time‑management and organisational abilities.
