Integration Architect – Secure Government Programs

About the role

Meritus Talent is recruiting two Integration Architects to join a leading technology consultancy delivering secure integration solutions for UK Central Government programmes. The role is based in Bristol with a hybrid schedule – two days on‑site each week.

Key responsibilities

• Define and develop enterprise‑scale integration architectures.
• Design integration solutions across complex, multi‑supplier environments, covering API‑led, event‑driven, messaging and service‑oriented approaches.
• Produce architecture models, standards, principles and governance artefacts.
• Collaborate with technical and business stakeholders to shape integration strategies and translate requirements into clear architectural guidance.
• Support architectural governance to ensure solutions align with agreed standards.

Required profile

• Active Security Check (SC) clearance.
• Proven experience as an Integration Architect, Enterprise Architect or Senior Solution/Technical Architect.
• Strong background designing enterprise integration architectures in regulated or secure environments.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
