International Accounting & Finance Analyst – Live & Collect

About the role

Fanatics Collectibles is seeking a hands‑on Accounting & Finance Analyst to manage day‑to‑day accounting operations for its France entity. The role ensures statutory compliance, audit readiness, and robust financial discipline as the business expands across Europe.

Key responsibilities

• Execute month‑end close: collect invoices, prepare accruals and reversals, perform cut‑off checks, run calculations and reconcile key balance‑sheet accounts.
• Manage vendor and payment operations: verify invoices, prepare payment proposals and support execution with appropriate controls.
• Handle banking and cash: download statements, reconcile bank/Stripe balances, investigate variances and provide balance evidence to the external accounting provider.
• Support tax compliance: prepare inputs and review monthly VAT deliverables with third‑party providers.
• Partner with local Operations and Seller teams while coordinating monthly close and compliance deliverables with the external accounting provider.

Required profile

• Hands‑on accounting experience with statutory reporting and audit preparation.
• Proven ability to manage month‑end close, vendor payments, bank reconciliations and VAT compliance.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work collaboratively with cross‑functional teams.
• Experience transitioning finance processes from contractor‑based to in‑house models.
