International Tax Adviser

About the role

Entain is seeking an International Tax Adviser to support its global tax function, which manages over £1.5bn in annual tax payments across more than 20 countries. You will work closely with accountants, lawyers, marketers and technology experts to ensure tax compliance and align tax strategy with commercial growth.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and deliver a robust international tax strategy in collaboration with senior stakeholders.
• Act as a business partner to international markets, ensuring compliance with local tax laws, group tax strategy and transfer‑pricing policies.
• Manage the end‑to‑end international tax compliance cycle, including filings, payments and tax reporting.
• Lead and support tax audits, litigation and risk‑management activities.
• Identify and implement tax optimisation initiatives, coordinating with internal teams and external advisors.
• Monitor international tax and legislative developments, model impacts and advise on mitigating actions.
• Support M&A, restructurings, new market entry and strategic initiatives through tax due diligence and financial modelling.

Required profile

• 1‑3 years of experience in International Tax.
• Working towards Chartered Tax Adviser (CTA) and/or ACA/CA/ACCA qualification (or equivalent).
• Strong international tax technical knowledge.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work with cross‑functional teams.
