Investment Associate – Mid-Market Private Equity Fund (London)

About the role

Our client is a highly regarded private‑equity firm leading in the mid‑market space. They are seeking an Investment Associate to join their entrepreneurial London‑based team and take responsibility across the full investment lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Identify new investment opportunities and build relationships with potential targets.
• Participate hands‑on in transaction execution, managing all due‑diligence workstreams.
• Prepare financial models and investment materials for partners, the investment committee, portfolio companies, or external parties.
• Support the investment committee in decision‑making.
• Work closely with portfolio companies on strategic and value‑creation initiatives, including M&A, international expansion, and AI enhancement.

Required profile

• Associate‑level experience in mid‑market investment banking.
• Chartered accounting qualification (beneficial).
• Bachelor’s degree from a top university.
• Intellectually curious with excellent business judgment.
• Entrepreneurial, self‑starter attitude and low‑ego, collaborative nature.
