Investment Executive – Mid-Market Private Equity (London)

About the role

We are working with a well‑capitalised and highly successful lower mid‑market fund that acts as the private capital arm of a larger group. The fund’s family‑office style approach provides a permanent capital base, allowing a long‑term investment focus. The fund is now looking to add an Investment Executive to its dynamic, high‑calibre team, covering the full investment lifecycle from origination to exit.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse potential investments and lead large parts of due diligence, financial modelling and execution across mid‑market deals.
• Support directors on origination efforts through established advisory networks and build relationships with potential targets.
• Screen and analyse potential investments while developing investment theses.
• Take significant responsibility for preparing financial models and investment files.

Required profile

• Exposure to and affinity for the UK mid‑market.
• Associate‑level experience in a mid‑market investment bank, lead advisory, or within a private equity fund.
• Compelling analytical and financial modelling skills.
• Collaborative, low‑ego, intellectually curious and motivated by long‑term partnership investing rather than short‑term financial engineering.
• Distinguished academic background.
