IT Asset Analyst

About the role

The IT Asset Analyst will support Service Intelligence and IT Asset Management for Vocalink Limited and Vocalink International. Working closely with internal stakeholders and Mastercard functions, the role ensures the organisation’s IT asset tools and data are accurate, compliant and optimised.

Key responsibilities

• Support Lead Analysts with BMC Discovery baseline reporting, gap analysis and issue resolution.
• Provide SME expertise on internal audit and controls for ISO27001, ISAE3000 and external vendor audits.
• Enforce ITAM governance and methodology compliance across VLL/VIL.
• Oversee licensing and contractual governance for key vendors.
• Promote best practices for IT Asset Management tools and data sets.
• Manage IT Asset Management tools, supervise Software Asset Management and coach junior team members.
• Create and maintain Power BI dashboards for business consumption.
• Develop enterprise‑wide IT Asset Management standards and procedures.
• Maintain accurate tracking of data points and related reporting.
• Organise business meetings, reviews and documentation retention.
• Produce and refresh functional documentation on a regular cadence.
• Perform first‑line risk mitigation and remediation with the assigned Risk Champion.

Required profile

• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Experience using BMC Discovery/CMDB or comparable tools.
• Experience with Flexera Flexnet Manager Suite/Data Platform or similar solutions.
• Proficiency in analysing large data sets from multiple sources and presenting insights.
• Understanding of IT asset governance, licensing and audit requirements.
