IT & Business Systems Manager

About the role

Robert Half is seeking a hands‑on IT & Business Systems Manager to take full ownership of the technology landscape for a fast‑growing organisation in Cheshire. You will act as the single internal point of contact for all business systems, ensuring they support operational efficiency and growth.

Key responsibilities

• Own and continuously improve the business systems ecosystem, driving optimisation and integration.
• Lead the internal IT function and manage relationships with third‑party providers, software vendors and consultants.
• Translate business requirements into practical technology solutions and process enhancements.
• Ensure business systems enable efficient reporting, resource planning and financial integration.
• Oversee ERP and PSA platform implementations and upgrades.

Required profile

• Strong experience with ERP systems, preferably Microsoft Dynamics 365 or similar.
• Hands‑on experience with Professional Services Automation (PSA) platforms, including resource planning, timesheets and financial integration.
• Proven track record of business systems optimisation, transformation and integration.
• Comfortable managing external IT partners and software vendors.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills across all business levels.
