IT Support Engineer (Contract) – 1 day onsite per week

About the role

We are seeking a proactive IT Support Engineer on a short‑term contract to assist a growing business with day‑to‑day IT operations. The role involves one day per week onsite work, with the remainder performed remotely, and offers a competitive daily rate.

Key responsibilities

• Build, configure and provision laptops for end‑users.
• Manage hardware stock, perform restocks and coordinate collections and deliveries.
• Update and maintain asset registers, tracking equipment throughout its lifecycle.
• Provide general desktop support and assist with routine IT operations.
• Support device lifecycle management, including imaging and de‑commissioning.

Required profile

• Previous experience in IT Support, Desktop Support or IT Operations.
• Hands‑on experience with laptop imaging and hardware provisioning.
• Comfortable managing IT assets and inventory.
• Strong organisational and communication abilities.
• Familiarity with Microsoft environments (O365, Intune, Autopilot is a plus).
• Available to start immediately.

What we offer

• Up to £150 per day.
