IVA Insolvency Practitioner – Hybrid/Remote – Manchester

About the role

Join a newly funded start‑up insolvency firm in Manchester as an IVA Insolvency Practitioner. You will be the named practitioner on IVA appointments and help shape the firm’s offering in the volume IVA market.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the licensed Insolvency Practitioner on all IVA cases.
• Oversee the full lifecycle of each case, from proposal through to closure.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory and ethical standards.
• Develop and implement processes, procedures and best practices.
• Provide technical oversight and support to case administrators.
• Build, mentor and lead a growing team as the business expands.
• Liaise with creditors, introducers and other key stakeholders.
• Contribute to the strategic growth and success of the firm.

Required profile

• Licensed Insolvency Practitioner (essential).
• Strong background in the volume IVA market.
• Experience managing high‑volume caseloads.
• Technical and compliance expertise.
• Entrepreneurial mindset suited to a start‑up environment.
• Leadership and team development experience.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
