Junior Frontend Developer

About the role

Acorn Insurance is looking for a motivated Junior Frontend Developer to join our Liverpool squad. You will work alongside experienced engineers and designers, learning to build modern web applications that directly impact our customers.

Key responsibilities

• Learn and contribute to the development of responsive web applications using React and Next.js.
• Pair with senior engineers to implement new features and improve existing ones.
• Participate in team planning, code reviews, and collaborative discussions.
• Write clean, maintainable code and gain experience with testing and performance monitoring tools.
• Contribute ideas, ask questions, and continuously develop your frontend skills.

Required profile

• Some experience with web development through studies, projects or previous work.
• Strong curiosity, positive attitude and eagerness to learn.
• Enjoys teamwork, sharing ideas and receiving feedback.
• Desire to grow into a confident, well‑rounded frontend developer.
