Junior Management Accountant

About the role

We are looking for a Junior Management Accountant to support the Management Accountant and Financial Controller in delivering accurate and timely financial reporting. This role offers a solid foundation in management accounting within a fast‑paced infrastructure environment.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare monthly labour recovery journals and reconcile them with payroll and HR data.
• Carry out trial balance reconciliations, post routine journals and assist with balance‑sheet reconciliations.
• Support month‑end close activities, flagging any risks to deadlines.
• Respond to ad‑hoc finance queries from operational teams and assist with report preparation.
• Gather data for budget, forecast, VAT, CIS and other compliance submissions.
• Maintain accurate records in Business Central ERP and use Excel for schedules and reconciliations.

Required profile

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to accurate financial records.
• Ability to follow documented finance processes and meet month‑end deadlines.
• Proactive attitude with a focus on continuous improvement.
