Junior Real Estate Analyst – Long Lease Investment Team

About the role

M&G’s long‑lease real estate investment team manages a portfolio of approximately £6 billion across the UK and Europe. The Junior Fund Associate will work at the heart of the fund management and investment team, supporting the flagship M&G Secured Property Income Fund and related strategies.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse new investment opportunities and make recommendations to the relevant Fund Manager.
• Support investment committee and approval processes to facilitate successful transactions.
• Prepare investor, consultant, compliance and internal reporting.
• Assist dedicated asset managers with active management of existing properties.
• Monitor compliance with investment policies and restrictions.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external service partners.

Required profile

• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail and high numeracy.
• Good proficiency in Excel and sound financial‑modelling abilities.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Highly motivated self‑starter able to work independently.
• Team‑oriented with the ability to draw expertise from different business units.
• Ability to prioritise, meet deadlines and work under pressure.
• Flexible approach to role and responsibilities within a growing business.
• Strong desire to build a career in real‑estate investment.
