Junior Treasury Accountant (Graduate)

About the role

This entry‑level position offers a graduate the chance to join the Group Treasury team of a FTSE 100 company operating in 90 countries. Working under the Treasury Controller, you will support senior staff while gaining exposure to funding, financial risk management and treasury reporting.

Key responsibilities

• Monthly reporting and preparation of management and statutory accounts for multiple entities.
• Accounting and reconciliation of bank accounts, deposits and money‑market instruments.
• Assist in the preparation of valuation reports for FX, interest‑rate swaps, cross‑currency swaps and options.
• Support FX exposure reporting (IAS 21) and Treasury Committee reporting.
• Execute and document SOX controls, ensuring zero control failures.
• Maintain static data and administer bank portals and treasury management systems.
• Ensure accurate and timely settlement of treasury trades and payments.

Required profile

• University degree in any discipline with a finance focus.
• Interest in finance, financial instruments and rapid learning.
• Immaculate attention to detail and strong written and verbal communication.
• Motivation to grow in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment.

Required skills

• Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
• Intermediate proficiency with Google Workspace tools.
• Familiarity with treasury management systems and ERP platforms.
• Understanding of SOX control execution and documentation.
