About the role
Are you a committed and determined person seeking the chance to begin or pursue a career as a Key Stage 1 Teacher? Academics, an education agency, is seeking a qualified applicant to work as a supply teacher for several Birmingham schools starting September 2026.
Key responsibilities
- Provide and encourage a safe and inclusive environment for pupils
- Plan and deliver quality lessons relevant to the national curriculum
- Ensure teaching and lesson plans are adaptable for children with SEND
- Work in collaboration with colleagues and parents to ensure the best outcomes for pupils
- Monitor and assess pupils' development
Required profile
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
- Strong understanding of the Key Stage 1 curriculum
- Enhanced DBS (must be on the update service)
- Willingness to complete relevant training continually
