KS1 Teacher

About the role

As a Key Stage 1 Teacher you will deliver engaging and creative lessons that support pupils' academic, social and emotional development. You will create a positive, inclusive classroom environment aligned with the KS1 National Curriculum, encouraging every child to reach their full potential.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging lessons across the KS1 curriculum.
• Create a nurturing, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment.
• Assess, monitor and report on pupils' progress and attainment.
• Differentiate learning to meet the needs of all pupils, including those with SEND and EAL.
• Foster positive relationships with pupils, parents and colleagues.
• Support pupils' personal, social and emotional development.
• Contribute to curriculum planning and wider school initiatives while upholding safeguarding procedures.

Required profile

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
• Experience teaching within Key Stage 1 (early career teachers are welcome).
• Strong knowledge of the KS1 National Curriculum.
• Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
• Passion for delivering creative and engaging learning experiences.
• Commitment to high standards of teaching, pupil achievement and safeguarding.
