About the role
We are looking for an enthusiastic KS2 Supply Teacher to deliver Maths and English lessons across primary schools in Birmingham and the Sandwell area. You will plan and teach engaging lessons, including afternoon sessions, while maintaining a safe and supportive classroom environment.
Key responsibilities
- Plan and deliver daily Maths and English lessons for KS2 pupils.
- Create varied afternoon activities that capture children’s interests.
- Maintain classroom discipline and ensure a secure learning atmosphere.
- Adapt teaching approaches to meet the needs of Year 6 students, including SAT preparation where relevant.
Required profile
- Confident, passionate KS2 teacher with a calming presence.
- Ability to create a safe, inclusive classroom where pupils can thrive.
- Desirable knowledge of Year 6 SAT expectations (not essential).
