About the role

Lead Cyber Security Consultant (Defence) role within actica's Defence Cyber team, delivering secure, resilient digital capabilities for UK Defence customers. The role combines technical expertise, leadership and strategic thinking across varied projects.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and support teams delivering cyber security services across Defence programmes and projects.
• Work closely with customers to understand challenges and develop practical, proportionate security solutions.
• Provide trusted advice to senior stakeholders on cyber security risks, opportunities and best practices.
• Support the design and delivery of secure systems, platforms and digital services, applying Secure by Design principles.

Required profile

• Experience in cyber security, information security, risk management or related fields.
• Proven ability to lead workstreams or teams in a collaborative environment.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with a customer‑focused approach.
