Lecturer (Health and Social Care) – 0.6 to 1 FTE

About the role

We are seeking a passionate health and social care professional to join our teaching team in Kings Lynn. The role involves delivering a range of courses—from GCSE to T‑Level and adult counselling—while supporting the development of future health and social care specialists.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver health and social care curricula across GCSE, Level 1‑3, T‑Level and adult counselling programmes.
• Design learning activities that meet the needs of local NHS, hospice and care providers.
• Contribute to the development of new apprenticeships and future course offerings.
• Provide academic support and mentorship to learners pursuing careers in health and social care.
• Collaborate with department staff to uphold the charter values of collaboration, expectation and communication.

Required profile

• Qualified health and/or social care professional with a genuine interest in teaching young adults.
• Ability to inspire and develop learners’ personal and professional skills.
• Willingness to obtain a teaching qualification through the institution’s development programme (if not already held).
• Commitment to flexible working arrangements and a healthy work‑life balance.
