Legal Communications Executive

About the role

The Legal Communications Executive will work closely with the marketing team, legal departments and senior leadership to design and deliver both internal and external communication strategies. This role blends creativity with strategic thinking to enhance the firm’s reputation while complying with legal marketing regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, create and manage internal and external communications plans.
• Support client and stakeholder engagement initiatives, including events, webinars and networking sessions.
• Develop thought‑leadership content and client‑facing communications aligned with firm goals.
• Produce internal newsletters, intranet updates, leadership messages and culture‑building campaigns.
• Assist marketing campaigns, brand communications and social‑media content creation.
• Maintain communication schedules, content calendars and engagement reports.
• Manage the firm’s social media accounts, schedule posts, monitor activity and respond to enquiries.
• Analyse engagement data, monitor performance metrics and refine strategies to maximise reach and enquiries.

Required profile

• Proven experience within the legal industry.
• Strong understanding of legal marketing regulations.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with fee earners, business development and marketing teams.
• Creative mindset combined with strategic thinking.
