Lending Property Paralegal – Guildford

About the role

Our client is seeking an ambitious Lending Property Paralegal to join a growing property team in Guildford. The role offers exposure to a varied caseload of secured lending and property finance matters, supporting fee earners throughout the transaction process.

Key responsibilities

• Draft legal documents and correspondence for secured lending and property finance transactions.
• Open and manage client files, conduct searches and review title documentation.
• Prepare Certificates of Title and security documentation.
• Liaise with borrowers, lenders, brokers, solicitors and other third parties.
• Assist with completions, post‑completion registrations and lender requirements.
• Ensure compliance with lender instructions, regulatory obligations and firm procedures.
• Maintain accurate records and case‑management systems.

Required profile

• Previous experience within a Property Finance, Lending Property or Conveyancing team.
• Understanding of secured lending transactions and the property conveyancing process.
• Strong administrative and organisational abilities.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• High levels of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Ability to prioritise workloads and meet deadlines.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
