About the role
We are looking for a Lifeguard to join Places Leisure’s pool facilities, working in a lively environment to ensure the safety and enjoyment of our community members.
Key responsibilities
- Supervise pool users and fellow lifeguards, maintaining a safe swimming environment.
- Enforce health and safety policies and oversee building operations related to the pool.
- Provide first‑class customer service, addressing enquiries and assisting users.
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards throughout the facility.
Required profile
- National Lifeguard Qualification (NPLQ) – essential.
- Strong swimming ability and safety‑conscious mindset.
- Excellent attention to detail and a passion for customer service.
Required skills

- Competent swimming skills
- First Aid knowledge
