Logistics Specialist – Data Centre Operations

About the role

Join Amazon Web Services as a Logistics Specialist supporting data centre operations across Greater Western London. You will play a key part in ensuring the smooth flow of parts and equipment, helping to keep the world’s largest cloud infrastructure running efficiently.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate inbound and outbound deliveries, liaising with internal vendors, couriers and transportation teams.
• Receive, unpack, verify, and stow inventory and non‑inventory items while keeping the inventory management system accurate.
• Work closely with Data Centre Operations Technicians, Engineers and Rack Install teams to fulfil parts requests quickly.
• Execute stock re‑balancing transfers between locations locally and globally.
• Maintain precise records, perform regular cycle counts, and ensure workspace cleanliness and safety.
• Handle reverse logistics (RMA) by interfacing directly with vendors.
• Provide ad‑hoc analysis and support projects based on business needs.

Required profile

• Strong work ethic, attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
• Commitment to safety and operational excellence.
• Physical ability to lift items up to 18 kg regularly.
• Willingness to travel up to 50 % within a 30‑mile radius of London Heathrow, with potential for future international travel.
• Self‑starting, motivated and hardworking individual.
