M&A Deals Tax Senior Manager

About the role

We are partnering with a leading accountancy firm in the North West to recruit a Tax Advisory Senior Manager/Director. The role focuses on delivering high‑quality M&A tax advice to owner‑managed businesses, start‑ups and entrepreneurial clients.

Key responsibilities

• Provide tax advisory services on demergers, acquisitions, corporate restructurings, group reorganisations, exit and succession planning, and share‑scheme design.
• Work closely with the Partner and Head of Tax to ensure delivery standards and client satisfaction.
• Collaborate with one of the region’s largest corporate finance teams based in Manchester.
• Lead and mentor junior staff, contributing to the growth of the tax practice.

Required profile

• Extensive experience in corporate tax advisory for SMEs and owner‑managed enterprises.
• Proven track record handling complex M&A transactions and related tax structures.
• Strong commercial acumen and the ability to communicate confidently with senior stakeholders.

Required skills

• In‑depth knowledge of UK corporate tax legislation.
• Experience with demergers, restructurings, group reorganisations, and share‑scheme implementation.
