Management Accountant – £40k-£50k, Hybrid

About the role

The client is seeking a proactive Management Accountant to join their finance team in Manchester. This role offers a competitive salary and a hybrid working model after the probation period, providing a balance between office collaboration and flexible remote work.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare month‑end accounts, including balance‑sheet reconciliations, accruals and pre‑payments.
• Develop and maintain rolling cash‑flow forecasts.
• Lead the annual stock‑take process for the group.
• Assist with year‑end audit preparation and support the audit team.
• Collaborate with finance and non‑finance managers to produce annual budgets.
• Support the day‑to‑day accounts function and supervise accounts assistants.

Required profile

• Qualified by experience (ACCA, CIMA or AAT) or part‑qualified in one of these professional bodies.
• Strong communication skills and the drive to work closely with a Group Finance Director and Controller.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines.
