Multi-Trade Engineer Assistant – Maintenance Team

Key responsibilities

• Assist with responsive repairs, planned maintenance and void works across railway stations and associated buildings.
• Support specialist electrical, mechanical, HVAC, plumbing and fire engineers on site.
• Carry out plumbing maintenance, general building upkeep and fault diagnosis.
• Apply health and safety best practice and provide excellent customer service.
• Use mobile technology and digital repair management systems to record work.
• Organise materials, equipment and workloads efficiently.

Required profile

• Practical and hands‑on with at least 1 year experience in labouring or a trade environment.
• Safety‑conscious, dependable and reliable.
• Comfortable working independently and as part of a team.
• Confident communicating with customers, station staff and contractors.
• Organised with accurate digital record‑keeping.
• Keen to learn and develop technical skills.
• Appropriately trained and competent to undertake any specialist work required.
