Multi Trade Operative

About the role

The Multi Trade Operative will support Morris Property Maintenance Ltd in delivering a wide range of property repair and maintenance services. Working on new builds, insurance repairs, housing association projects and customer care assignments, you will travel within a 100‑mile radius of Birmingham.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out general building works across various sites.
• Perform carpentry, plastering/rendering, plumbing, tiling, and painting & decorating tasks.
• Maintain and repair residential and commercial properties.
• Work on new build projects, insurance property repairs and housing association contracts.
• Travel to job sites using a company van and adhere to health & safety standards.

Required profile

• Valid CSCS card.
• Full clean UK driving licence.
• Enhanced DBS/DVLA check before start.
• NVQ in your primary trade.
• High standard of workmanship and good communication.
• Ability to work in occupied properties.
• Two professional references.

• Permanent position after a 3‑month probation.
• Monday‑Friday, 8am‑4pm (40 hrs/week) with a 30‑minute unpaid break.
