About the role

The Supply Register Ltd is recruiting on behalf of a Core Trust secondary school in Birmingham for an enthusiastic Music Teacher. The appointment starts in September 2026 and covers the full academic year on a full‑time, temporary basis.

Key responsibilities

Deliver engaging music lessons for Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 students.
Plan, assess and monitor student progress throughout the year.
Support extracurricular music activities and school performances.
Create a positive, inclusive learning environment.
Collaborate with colleagues within the music department.

Required profile

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
Strong subject knowledge and passion for music education.
Experience teaching in a secondary school setting.
Ability to motivate and inspire learners of all abilities.
